The European Economic and Social Committee is an EU advisory body whose members represent employer and employee organizations and other interest groups. The EESC develops opinions on various EU topics for the European Commission, the Council of the European Union and the European Parliament, forming a bridge between the decision-making institutions of the EU and EU citizens.
